Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) Technology

Advanced Technology to Help Transform Patients' Lives.

The new L300 Plus System, as well as the L300 Foot Drop System replace natural electrical brain signals, helping reanimate weak or paralyzed limbs.

These devices may be used to reduce impairments and to increase daily functional activities in patients with neurological diseases or injuries. Click the player to see Bioness FES rehabilitation systems in action.

The L300 Plus System May:

  • Restore lost functional activities such as standing, walking and climbing stairs
  • Assist with a reduction in secondary problems of paresis such as:
    • Poor blood circulation
    • Limited range of motion
    • Muscle spasms
    • Muscle disuse atrophy
  • Increase speed, stability and social participation1

All three systems can help certain CNS patients regain natural use and movement, some even to the point of reeducating the brain to relearn natural movements for the following diagnoses: Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Traumatic Brain Injury and Spinal Cord Injury.
